LAUNCH DAY - SKAPADE RECORDS
Today’s a huge day and we are very excited!!
We have accomplished so much since starting the Studio, working in the heart of the community, building a business that helps develop artists in the music industry, becoming Scotland’s only PioneerDJ accredited DJ school & hosting one of Scotland’s most popular live streams every Friday night. Our aim has always been about showcasing the best talent around the UK and supporting artists as they grow and develop.
With that said, it’s time to add another important element to the SKapade brand… Our very own record label!
This project has been in the pipeline for a number of years but we didn't want to pull the trigger on it until the time was just right. We’re now in a position where we have a growing number of amazing artists we want to work with as well as stacks of great music ready to be released.
Similar to our live streams and a variety of in-house artists, we will be releasing a varied range of electronic dance music styles. We will also be accepting demos very soon, so keep an eye on our page when this becomes available!
So, in usual SKapade fashion, we are kicking off with a bang with the official release of ‘Phonin The Cooncil’. This track has taken Scotland by storm, racking up over 400K views on Tiktok alone! It felt right to kick off the label with this one and get it out there sooner, rather than later.
